Prey concept art from 1996
The first artwork represents the concept for an environment.
The next two are concepts for enemies ("beast" and "Pharkus Hunter").
The following seven are sketches for the look of the protagonist, known back then as "Prey of Earth". In particular, the last two are from a 1998 issue of Joystick that for some reason showed the iteration that was abandoned two years before.

Following is the first attempt to a Prey logo, made for the 1996 weekly updates.
